Choosing the Right Dext Plan for Your Business

This is part of our Getting Started with Dext series (Chapter 1 of the Dext tutorial hub):

  • Lesson 1: What Dext Is and Why a BAS Agent Recommends It
  • Lesson 2: Setting Up Your Dext Account: Costs vs Sales
  • Lesson 3: Choosing the Right Dext Plan for Your Business

Dext offers different plans depending on whether you are a standalone small business or a bookkeeping practice managing several clients.

1. Plans for a single business

These are priced around document volume, suited to a business capturing its own receipts and bills each month.

2. Plans for bookkeeping practices

Aimed at firms managing Dext across multiple client files, usually with practice level reporting and management tools.

3. Working out roughly how many documents you process

A rough monthly count of receipts and bills helps you land on the right plan tier rather than over or under paying.

4. Trialling before committing

It is worth trialling Dext for a month before committing long term, to see how it fits your actual workflow.

Dext’s official YouTube channel has plan comparisons: youtube.com/@HelloDext. Our registered BAS agents can help you weigh up whether Dext fits your budget and workflow.
