Getting super paid correctly and on time matters more than ever, with Payday Super now in effect.

1. How Pay Super works

MYOB’s Pay Super feature calculates and processes super contributions as part of your payroll, distributing them to each employee’s fund.

2. The old quarterly system

Until 30 June 2026, super was generally paid quarterly, due by the 28th day after each quarter ended.

3. What Payday Super changes

Since 1 July 2026, super must reach employees’ funds within 7 business days of each payday, applying to every pay run from that date onward.

4. Preparing your process

Review your super payment timing and clearing house arrangements now that Payday Super is in effect. Make sure your process allows contributions to reach employees’ funds within 7 business days of payday.
