A branded invoice looks more professional and makes your business easier to recognise in a client’s inbox. Here is how to set it up.

1. Find branding themes

Under your organisation settings, look for Invoice Settings or Branding Themes, where you can create and edit how your invoices look.

Add your business logo so it appears at the top of every invoice automatically.

3. Customise the details shown

Choose which fields appear, such as your ABN, bank details for payment, and any standard terms or notes you want included on every invoice.

4. Set it as your default

Once you are happy with it, set the theme as default so every new invoice uses your branding automatically without extra steps.

Xero’s YouTube channel has walkthroughs on customising invoice themes: youtube.com/@xero. Need a hand getting your branding right? Our registered BAS agents can help with setup as part of onboarding.
