Sending your first invoice in QuickBooks Online takes just a few steps once you know where everything sits.

1. Start a new invoice

From the Sales menu, create a new invoice and select or add the customer you are billing.

2. Add your line items

Select products or services, quantities and prices, with GST calculated automatically.

3. Set your payment terms

Choose your due date and add any reference the client needs, such as a job number.

4. Review and send

Send the invoice directly by email from QuickBooks, with a pay now link if online payments are enabled.
